Southwestern Adventist University proudly presents The Mountain Within, a charity screening of the award-winning documentary featuring a Q&A with the films composer, Emmy award-winner Michael Price (BBC Sherlock), and director Kyle Portbury.

The Mountain Within provides a powerful insight into the emotional and physical journey of a group of seven adults with disabilities as they take on one of the most feared and revered mountains - Mount Kilimanjaro.
The screening benefits two local charities:
Community Opportunities, Inc. (COI) is a non-profit agency located in Keene, Texas, whose purpose is to provide life opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The COI professional staff, families and advocates, and local business partners achieve this mission by providing skills training, job placement, and social activities. COI offers these services to enhance lives, facilitate independence, and encourage community involvement and awareness.
Wedgwood Academy is a non-profit organization located in Fort Worth, Texas, dedicated to the education of those special children and adults with learning differences and ADHD.
